adidas Urban Artist Series Exhibition 2011 in Berlin - opening July 8th



My work for adidas + 2 other personal work will be featured in the upcoming adidas Urban Artist Series exhibition opening on July 8th at the West Berlin Gallery. I will attend the opening so I hope to see you there.

For the Urban Artist Series adidas teamed up with some of the most outstanding international artists to create fresh interpretations of sports performance. The exhibition features selected pieces from the clothing line alongside the artists' original works and contributions from the adidas designers. The Urban Artist Series exhibition is on at West Berlin Gallery from July 8th to 23rd 2011. The opening takes place on July 8th at 19.00.

Its been a wild and crazy few months of work, so I am sorry for the lack of updates. I haven't had much time for anything else. I have been busy working as a consultant for Loveramics, currently re-branding their whole company, from logo, corporate guidelines, business cards, advertising, newsletter, exhibition and fair design, store art direction, packaging, and website. Will update with some work soon.



I have also produced exclusive art with DC comics choosing my two favourite superheroes - Batman and Superman. These were exhibited at the Palais De Tokyo in Paris and now is moving around the city into 3 other exhibitions. These are big enough pieces about 3 feet big.



I have also started forcussing on hand drawn and painted artworks. Last month I exhibited for Nooka custom art exhibition at Kapok in Wan Chai. And just these few weeks finishing off a skateboard for an exhibition in New York. I will start a new section on my site in the workshop section. I want to separate my digital work vs hand produced art.



2010 is the year I turned 40. I have been in this creative design industry for 20 years, and its been a humbling ride. I want to retain the same attitude each day, to learn as much as I can and to explore new things I have never tried before.



For 2011, it looks like more of the same busy schedules coming up. Continuing on with Loveramics projects and in January, I have been invited to Ikea in Sweden for a 3 day creative workshop and later to work on a new line for products for their PS collection to be released in 2014. I am extremely excited and hoping I can cope with the Sweden weather and also a whole new project, client and country for 2011, yes!!!

I have just added "Media" in the Profile section. It's for all the interviews, showcases and exclusive designs I created for design publications from around the world. Just grateful for the people that appreciate the work and amazed how news travels even without a proper website for the last 12 years. This update is not complete. Still need to add some more books and magazines from Japan and China publications too.











For those waiting for the Workshop section to be active, I am working on this (believe me!) but need some time to make things just right before releasing the first book. It's my personal section so not surprising that it takes longer than usual. I also have some large projects I am currently working on so hence the delay.











A few of my friends have been asking when the "Moustache in Disguise radio show" will be active. I am working out my studio set up now and possibly want to go all digital in my set up (meaning no vinyl - oh no!!). The Serato Vinyl Scratch that I have currently is good but its taking up too much room with 2 Technics turntables and a Pioneer mixer. Seriously thinking about purchasing Da Scratch from Stanton. Workshop  End of March





This section will be an area where we do lots of experimentation with photography, hand drawings, digital experiments and nice surprises. It is an area where we think will help us express what we want without the pressure and timelines of actual commissioned projects. We are also aiming to create some nice books from this workshop.











Radio  End of April





We plan to have interviews of Atomic Attack's favourite djs and artists from around the globe. Also hoping there will be an exclusive mix from these artists. Inbetween we will provide radio shows of our own tunes for the month whether as a mix or in a mixtape style. Be sure to visit the site again for more updates.











Store  Sometime mid year





With such a busy schedule in the coming months, Claudy and I are planning to produce some products by mid year. June/July will be an exciting few months for us!!
